Football: Hopewell 20, Prince George 17

Devonte Ennis ran for 67 yards and three scores and the Blue Devils held on to beat the Royals for their first Central District win.

Jalen Reeves was 9 for 20 for 145 yards to help lead Hopewell (1-5, 2-7) from a 10-0 deficit.

Lawrence Taylor led Prince George (0-6, 1-8) with 121 yards passing, 99 yards rushing and a touchdown. The Royals' chances for victory were damaged by a bad snap on a field goal attempt late in the contest.
