Football: King William 47, Mathews 3

Larry Johnson and Lamont Ward ran for two touchdowns apiece and King William cruised past Mathews (4-4). Johnson finished with six carries for 123 yards and Ward carried nine times for 101 yards.

Lewis Redman was 10 for 22 passing for 173 yards and two TDs for the Cavaliers (5-2), who totaled 33 carries for 367 yards. Clay Harrington's field goal in the second quarter helped Mathews avoid the shutout.
