Football: Meadowbrook 33, Norview 13

VIRGINIA BEACH -- No. 2-ranked Meadowbrook ran roughshod over its winless out-of-area opponent.

Quarterback Andre Coble carried 10 times for 215 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Monarchs (3-0). Running back Domico Phillips was only slightly less impressive: 12 carries for 144 yards and a pair of scores.

Coble completed 9 of 15 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown. His 15-yard strike to Domico in the opening period produced Meadowbrook's first score of the game.
