Football: No. 7 Powhatan 57, Prince Edward 7

FARMVILLE -- Shawn Minor was a threat on all fronts, passing for two touchdowns, rushing for one and returning a punt for yet another score in the No. 7 Indians' Southside District romp.

Powhatan (6-0, 9-0) hit on all cylinders early. Larry Bradley carried seven times for 109 yards and the first score of the game before getting the rest of the night off.

Minor attempted just four passes but completed three for 122 yards. Josh Ingram caught two passes for 83 yards and a TD.

Kurt Taylor scored from each side of the ball, returning a fumble 26 yards for one touchdown and rushing yards for another score.

Alonzo Hurt ran 19 times for 76 yards and the only score for Prince Edward (1-5, 1-8).
