Football: Monacan 27, Huguenot 6

Logan Staib threw two scoring passes and ran in a touchdown in leading the Chiefs over the Falcons.

Staib finished 5 for 10 passing for 78 yards for Monacan (3-2 Dominion, 3-3). Chris Turner and Connor Wingo-Reeves dominated the defense with 11 tackles apiece.

Quinton Watson led Huguenot (1-3, 2-4) in rushing with 18 carries on 87 yards, and Peter Thomas ran in a 6-yard TD to avoid the shutout.
