Kevin Green accounted for 245 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Crimson Wave to a Central District rout of the Blue Devils.

After Ray Prosise blocked a punt out of the end zone to start the scoring for Petersburg (1-2, 3-3), Green (126 rushing, 119 passing) took over with two touchdown passes and a 58-yard touchdown run. Eric McGruger also saw time at quarterback and ran for 132 yards and one touchdown and passed for another touchdown. Petersburg finished with 468 yards of offense,

Quinton Spain led a dominant defensive effort by forcing four Hopewell (0-3, 1-5) fumbles and recovering two of them. In addition to a touchdown catch, Carlos Turner recorded a team-high nine tackles and Josh Allen had five solo tackles and eight total.
