Broncos on the ball in victory
COLONIAL BEACH - LaCurt Boone recovered a fumble in the end zone for what proved to be the winning score in Franklin's 16-14 victory over Colonial Beach yesterday in the Group A, Division I, Region A final.
Travis Cundiff scored on 26-yard run and an 18-yard pass to put the Drifters ahead 14-0, but Isaiah Hudson scored from 7 yards out and tacked on the conversion run to get Franklin back in it.
Franklin will play host to William Campbell on Saturday at 1 p.m. in a Group A semifinal.
