4 football playoffs canceled because of rain

Tonight's rainy weather forecast caused the postponement of the four Central Region football playoff games.

Hermitage was scheduled to play at Varina and Meadowbrook at L.C. Bird in Division 6. Douglas Freeman was traveling to Dinwiddie, and Monacan was on the road at Hanover in Division 5.

The games will be played Monday at 7 p.m. The region championship games scheduled next Friday have been moved to Saturday, Nov. 22.
