Girls Volleyball: Powhatan 3, Park View 0
No. 1 Powhatan (18-3) defeated No. 4 Park View yesterday in the semifinals of the Southside District. Janie Goodman had three kills, Ginna Tucker had eight digs and Brooke Strathy had 10 assists for the Indians.
Powhatan will host the finals today, taking on the winner of No. 3 Bluestone vs. No. 2 Southampton.
The Indians will also play Courtland in the quarterfinals of the regional tournament.
