DURHAM, N.C. -- Andre Dawkins scored a season-high 20 points and No. 9 Duke matched a school record with 18 3-pointers in a 104-67 romp against Radford (2-1) yesterday.
Nolan Smith added 20 points and Jon Scheyer had 18 for the Blue Devils (4-0). They overwhelmed Radford during a first half in which they shot 50 percent, matched the school record with 13 3s in a half and put this one away with a huge run.
After that, the only question was whether they'd launch enough 3s to reach the school record set in 2000 and matched against Monmouth in the first round of the 2001 NCAA tournament. They finished 18 for 32 from long range and shot 48.6 percent overall.
Artsiom Parakhouski had 23 points and 14 rebounds in his third straight 20-point game for the Highlanders.
William and Mary 75, Manhattan 70
NEW YORK -- Danny Sumner scored 17 points and William and Mary held off Manhattan late.
William and Mary (2-2) led 64-57 with 5:09 left, but Manhattan (1-2) cut the lead to 64-59 on Andrew Gabriel's layup with 4:41 remaining.
Schneider added 16 points and McDowell finished with 14. Marcus Kitts led William and Mary with nine rebounds. Antoine Pearson had 24 points for the Jaspers.
Old Dominion 70, Marshall 62
NORFOLK -- Gerald Lee scored a season-high 22 points in ODU's win over Marshall.
Frank Hassell added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Monarchs (4-0), who increased a 20-19 lead with 7:32 remaining in the first half to a 28-21 edge at halftime.
Damier Pitts scored 14 points and had four steals, and Tyler Wilkerson added 12 points for the Thundering Herd (2-1), which closed the game with an 11-3 run after trailing 67-51 with 56 seconds remaining.
Mount Olive 81, Virginia Union 76
Former Thomas Dale standouts Braxton and Brandon Byerson scored 11 and 14 points, respectively, but Virginia Union fell to Mount Olive. Five total Panthers reached double figures in the loss.

Hayward Fain and Steven Brignol each had 18 points for Saint Augustine's.
