Hamlin, Gordon battle for lead on Lap 200
Denny Hamlin and Jeff Gordon battled for the lead multiple times before Hamlin finished Lap 200 in front.
Hamlin, a former Chesterfield resident, and Gordon exchanged the lead five times and were clearly the class of the field midway through the race.
Mark Martin continued to run strong and was third, followed by Jimmie Johnson and Kurt Busch.
Emporia;s Elliott Sadler was three laps down in 38th place.
