Arizona - Declined their 2010 contract option on INF Chad Tracy.

Chicago (AL) - Agreed to terms with INF/OF Mark Kotsay on a one-year contract.

Colorado - Agreed to terms with RHP Matt Belisle and LHP Randy Flores on one-year contracts. Assigned RHP Joel Peralta and INF Omar Quintanilla outright to Colorado Springs (PCL) and Peralta elected to become a free agent.

Seattle - Claimed RHP Yusmeiro Petit off waivers from Arizona.

Tampa Bay - Named Bill Evers minor league field coordinator, Matt Quatraro minor league hitting coordinator and Dewey Robinson minor league pitching coordinator, Matt Arnold director of pro scouting and Tateki Uchibori international scout.

Texas -Named Clint Hurdle hitting coach.

Washington - Claimed LHP Doug Slaten off waivers from Arizona.
