It's clear, Snyder is biggest problem

My father was one of the first Washington Redskins fans, and, as a toddler, I had a Redskins doll. I have been a Redskins fan all my life. I am not ashamed of our team. I am furious with the front office.

If Dan Snyder wants to micromanage a team, let him sell the Redskins and go somewhere else. How about all the fans getting together to buy the Redskins?

The nerve of Snyder, banning signs because they reveal the truth of how the fans feel. And now he is censoring what the players and coaches have to say. Does he really think the fans don't know the truth?

Redskins fans are not idiots. We are fans, short for fanatics, and we know our team. Since Snyder bought the team, it has gone steadily down every year.

Let the coaches coach. Get off the field and back in your office where you belong. Let Jim Zorn decide what players to hire and which to play. He knows more about football than you ever did.

In all my years of being a Skins fan, I can't recall any year in which the team has been more embarrassing or underachieving. What an exhibit of disorganization and confusion. There are many problems with this edition of Skins.

The defense. Their cornerbacks are some of the most overrated players in the league. Carlos Rogers may be the worse cover corner in the entire league. He couldn't cover a high school receiver. In the open field, he couldn't tackle my granddaughter.

I thought Deion Sanders was afraid to tackle anyone, but DeAngelo Hall is close behind him. He just simply is afraid to hit anyone. Extremely overrated.

Fred Smoot is more mouth and show than substance.

The offense. Jason Campbell simply is not an NFL quarterback. Under pressure, he makes terrible decisions. He is always too late delivering the ball and hardly ever gets the ball to the best option of his receivers. He has a million dollar arm and a 10 cent brain. The Skins need to cut their losses and get rid of him. The front office did nothing to help the offensive line, which is where they need the most help. They even got rid of Jon Jansen (who was still solid) and left the offense with a tissue paper line.

Jim Zorn. I thought Steve Spurrier was the dumbest coach I had ever seen in the NFL, but Zorn is quickly catching him. He is no head coach.

The front office. They are at the top of the problem list. Dan Snyder needs to fire the general manager, Vinny Cerrato, and hire someone who knows what he is doing. Snyder then needs to get out of the way.

He has owned the team for 10 years and nothing he has done has worked. Not even bringing Joe Gibbs back. He should understand by now that he knows nothing about football. Let someone else handle the team and maybe the Skins will get back to the glory days of the Hogs.

Hopefully, Snyder will come to that conclusion when this season ends. It is too late to turn this thing around for this season. If not, they will continue to be a blemish on the great tradition of the Redskins.
