The Red Sox' Victor Martinez hit in his 28th straight start and is batting .358 in that stretch. ORIOLES 13, BLUE JAYS 7: Michael Aubrey hit a two-run homer and his first career grand slam, and Matt Wieters added a three-run shot as Baltimore ended Toronto's six-game winning streak. MARLINS 7, PHILLIES 2: Rick VandenHurk pitched six solid innings, and Jorge Cantu drove in three runs as Florida beat NL East champion Philadelphia. Cameron Maybin had four hits, scored three times and drove in a run for the Marlins. DIAMONDBACKS 12, CUBS 3: Eric Byrnes had his first multihomer game in more than two years and drove in five runs, leading Arizona over Chicago. Chris Young homered and had four hits, and Rusty Ryal drove in four runs for Arizona. NATIONALS 6, BRAVES 3: Rookie Ian Desmond homered, tripled and drove in three runs as Washington beat Atlanta to keep up its strong finish to a dismal season. The Nationals, who lead the majors with 103 losses, have a five-game winning streak. METS 7, ASTROS 1: Jeff Francoeur and Daniel Murphy each homered to help New York beat Houston. David Wright had an RBI double in the first and finished with three hits for New York, which had lost four of five - including a three-game sweep at Washington. PIRATES 3, REDS 1: Rookie Daniel McCutchen pitched into the seventh inning for his first major-league win and Lastings Milledge homered, leading Pittsburgh. Andy LaRoche drove in two runs despite twice being thrown out trying to stretch singles into doubles. BREWERS 12, CARDINALS 6: Adam Wainwright's hope for a 20th victory unraveled along with the St. Louis bullpen. Ryan Braun doubled twice to leave him one hit short of 200 and drove in the tying run before scoring the go-ahead in Milwaukee's six-run seventh.
