RANGERS 5, RED SOX 1: Kevin Millwood held Boston scoreless for seven innings, and Ian Kinsler hit a three-run homer to help Texas end an eight-game losing streak in Fenway Park. Millwood (5-4) was winless in four of his past five starts. BLUE JAYS 9, ROYALS 3: Adam Lind and Lyle Overbay hit home runs, and host Toronto gave Kansas City ace Zack Greinke a rare pounding. Rod Barajas added a two-run shot for the Blue Jays, who boosted Greinke's ERA from 1.10 to 1.55. INDIANS 6, WHITE SOX 0: Carl Pavano pitched a three-hitter for his fifth career shutout, and Mark DeRosa hit a three-run homer in the third inning to lead Cleveland at Chicago. BREWERS 4, BRAVES 0: Yovani Gallardo and Carlos Villanueva combined for a two-hit shutout, and rookie Mat Gamel drove in three runs as NL Central-leading Milwaukee won at Atlanta. Gallardo (6-2) walked four with six strikeouts and gave up no singles in eight innings. CUBS 2, REDS 1: Carlos Zambrano homered and pitched into the seventh inning to earn his 100th career victory as visiting Chicago beat slumping Cincinnati. Zambrano didn't allow a hit until Adam Rosales lined a single to left with one out in the fifth inning. ROCKIES 11, CARDINALS 4: Jorge De La Rosa ended a six-game losing streak to start the season and had his first RBI on a bases-loaded walk in a breakway nine-run seventh inning as Colorado coasted to a win at St. Louis. ASTROS 9, PIRATES 1: Carlos Lee hit a grand slam, and Mike Hampton beat Pittsburgh for the ninth straight time in host Houston's rout. Hampton (4-4) held the Pirates to one run for the second time in a week. METS 3, NATIONALS 1: David Wright's two-run double, his fourth hit, broke a 10th-inning tie and sent New York to a win at Washington, snapping the Mets' three-game losing streak. Sean Green (1-2) worked the ninth for the victory. GIANTS 2, MARLINS 1: Pablo Sandoval hit a two-run homer, and Barry Zito ended a four-start losing skid as San Francisco won at Florida. Zito (2-6) went five-plus innings, allowing one run on four hits to get his first win since May 8 at Los Angeles. - From Wire Reports
