76ERS 99, BUCKS 86: Andre Iguodala scored 19 points, Elton Brand had 17 and Philadelphia bounced back from a dismal opener to beat Milwaukee.

Samuel Dalembert had 10 points and 12 rebounds to help the Sixers look sharp in their home opener.

Michael Redd and 20-year-old rookie guard Brandon Jennings led the Bucks with 17 points each. Milwaukee was the last NBA team to start the season.

HAWKS 100, WIZARDS 89: Josh Smith scored 20 points and reached a blocked shots milestone, and Atlanta held off Gilbert Arenas and Washington.

Arenas had 23 points and Brendan Haywood added 19 for Washington.

The 23-year-old Smith rejected a shot by Arenas in the fourth quarter to become the youngest player in NBA history to block 900 shots. Shaquille O'Neal was 24 years old when he reached 900.
