Redskins’ Snyder says team has ‘let everyone down’

CLINTON, Md. — Team owner Dan Snyder says his Washington Redskins have “let everyone down.“
In a rare, in-season interview with reporters, Snyder said at a charity event that the team is embarrassed by its 2-5 start and hopes to turn things around soon.
Snyder has been the subject of much ire from some fans. Signs critical of the owner have been confiscated at recent home games as part of the team’s new crackdown on all signs and banners at the stadium.
Snyder was asked about the sign ban but did not address the issue. Regarding the fans, he said: “We’ve let everyone down, including ourselves, and we know that and we’re just apologetic.“

mikeyt…you must be a douchebag, “...an owner who’s just about as inept as Snyder.“ Really, so winning three Superbowls in four years makes JJ inept? How many has Snyder won again? It doesn’t matter how long it’s taken Dallas to win a playoff game since then, at least they’re competitive NOW….the ‘Skins are not and you are still a Douche!!
The differance between Synder and J.Jones is J.Jones has three world championships!
For starters get rid of Jason Campbell! I don’t know what the coaches see in him. He is so inexperienced and is at least 50% to blame for the team not performing up to expectation.

As a Cowboy fan for 33 years, I believe the Redskins are right on track to where they need to be. Go Snyder!! you’re not nor ever wil be Jerry Jones, but keep doing what you’re doing..Love to see the ‘Skins in defeatist mode!!

Well said ProudAmerican, but you forgot to mention the real cancer of the team…Vinny Cerrato. Until Snyder removes himself from “football specific” duties AND replaces Cerrato with someone who has half a brain, the Skins will be mediocre at best.
Good. Step 1 is realizing you have a problem. Now either do something about it by removing your hands from “Football Specific” matters or sell the team. You’re the problem Snyder. You’ve let everyone down, not the players.
