CAA: Denzel Bowles, James Madison, posted career-highs of 37 points and 15 rebounds in the Dukes' 78-57 win at Gardner-Webb. Bowles was playing just his second game at JMU after transferring from Texas A&M. He also had three assists and two blocks in the win.
USA South: Kevin Kline, Shenandoah, helped the Hornets to a 2-0 record last week. He averaged 24 point and six rebounds, and turned in a career-high, 30-point performace and a team-high 11 rebounds against Marymount in a 74-62 victory.
WOMEN
CAA: William and Mary freshman Taylor Hilton averaged 10.5 points and nine rebounds per game last week She recorded a career-high 12 points and eight rebounds Friday in the Tribe's 80-52 win over Norfolk State. Hilton had nine points and 10 rebounds Sunday in a loss to High Point, falling just shy of her first-career double-double.
