NOTABLE: The Kickers (0-0-1) return to league play after Wednesday's compelling but potentially expensive 3-1 exhibition loss to Mexico's U-21 national team. Of less concern than the score -- Richmond surrendered two stoppage-time goals -- is the health of central defender Yomby William, who tweaked his tender ankle twice, once so severely that he was forced to leave the match. William is expected to start tonight . . . Richmond emerged from its international exhibition with at least one tactical worry: Each of Mexico's three goals was scored off a set-piece header . . . Charlotte, beaten by Richmond in last year's USL-2 title match, arrives with a record of 0-1-0. The Eagles dropped a 3-2 opening-night decision to the Charleston Battery. Forwards Debola Ogunseye and Benjamin Page scored Charlotte's goals . . . Forward Matthew Delicate scored twice for the Kickers in their opening-night tie against Harrisburg and was chosen as the new season's first USL-2 player of the week.
