Kickers play to tie in New York

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Goalkeeper Ronnie Pascale helped Richmond secure a point as the Kickers played FC New York to a scoreless draw in regulation at Motamed Field on Friday night.

Richmond controlled the ball for much of the match and outshot New York 13-3. The Kickers' best chance may have come when forward Edson Elcock may have had the best chance for the Kickers when he sent one of Richmond's eight corners sailing just above the crossbar.

The Kickers next face the Columbus Crew on Tuesday night in the U.S. Open Cup before returning to league action next Friday, when they face the Rochester Rhinos.
