Tuesday's boys basketball roundup: Deep Run overcomes huge defecit

Trailing 17-2 in the second quarter, Deep Run stormed back to defeat Hermitage 58-55 in the quarterfinals of the Colonial District tournament Tuesday. Lucas Dyer had 14 rebounds and hit all four of his free throws in the final 30 seconds.

Willie Mangum scored 19 points, and Jestin Lewis added 18 points to lead John Marshall over J.R. Tucker 88-46.

Gerad Dean had eight steals and six assists for the Justices.

Jacob Cousins had nine points to lead the Tigers.

Thomas Jefferson's Vidrell Lee scored 20 points, and Kadeem Wright added 10 to pace the Vikings past Patrick Henry 52-46.
